BEST BUY confronts our values and pushes us to our limits.
The performance takes place during Los Angeles Fashion Week, in the middle of a runway show, without the audience being informed.
On stage, behind me, a screen projects a video created beforehand from archival magazine images that correspond to the descriptive narrative I deliver about the garments I am presenting, emphasizing their different forms of value (the provenance of the materials, the time required to make them, the prestigious designer names, the celebrity who once wore them…).

I then approach the models to cut their outfits directly on their bodies, framing and signing the garments thus transformed into art pieces.
I concluded the performance with a live auction, asking the shocked audience how much they believed these pieces were now worth after their transformation.

I was then invited to Denver to create additional pieces.
Each performance lasts roughly 20 minutes.
